The World Illustration Awards 2016

The Call for entries for the World Illustration Awards 2016 is open now – to illustrators in any country, working in any medium or context – and closes on Monday 08 February 2016.

Work entered for the competition must have been created or published between 1st January 2015 to close of competition February 2016.

Work can be entered by the creator of the work (illustrator, student /new graduate) or by any third party such as an Agent, Designer, College, Publisher or Commissioner.

Work must be entered into one of the 8 categories: Advertising, Books, Children's Books, Design, Editorial, Public Realm, Research and Knowledge Communication, Self Initiated Work.

Work in any medium can be entered in any category. Professional entries must have been commercially commissioned for all categories except Public Realm and Self-Initiated Work. New Talent entries do not have to be commercially commissioned and should be entered into the category that is most relevant to the work.

Entry costs
Single Image Entry UK & EU - £25 (including VAT) per entry
All other countries - £20.83 (no VAT) per entry

Multiple Image Entry UK & EU - £45 (including VAT) per entry
All other countries - - £37.50 (no VAT) per entry

08 February 2016: Call for Entry closes
May 2016: Shortlisted work announced
June/July 2016: Category Winners announced
September/October 2016: Awards Ceremony | Awards Exhibition opens | Catalogue published at exhibition opening 2016
October/November 2016: Exhibition starts 12-month national tour
