burg raabs an der thaya
internationale und lokale vortragende werden über schrift und schriftentwicklung und deren technische, gestalterische und gesellschaftspolitische aspekte sprechen. wir nehmen uns vier tage zeit für vorträge, diskussionen, gespräche und workshops. durch seine lage erweist sich die abgeschiedenheit des ortes – und seine reduzierte infrastruktur – als segen für die fokussierung auf inhalte.
die tga versteht sich als interessenvertretung von designer·innen, die typografie schätzen und in ihrer wirksamkeit erkannt haben. wir bieten dem typografischen anspruch und fachwissen in österreich ein forum.

anniversary symposion of the typographic society austria

raabs an der thaya castle
international and local speakers will talk about type and type development and their technical, design and socio-political aspects. we take four days for lectures, discussions, talks and workshops. due to its location, the seclusion of the place – and its reduced infrastructure – proves to be a blessing for focusing on content.
all lectures will be in english or german, with sur- or subtitles in english!
the tga sees itself as a representative of the interests of designers who value typography and have recognized its effectiveness. we offer a forum for typographic excellence and expertise in austria.
