As part of the celebrations of 20 years of designforum Wien and 20 years of Vienna Design Week, designaustria presents the exhibition NEXT GEN DESIGN »Futures Worth Living«. The exhibition showcases 50 award-winning design projects by young designers from across Europe, representing a wide range of design disciplines.
NEXT GEN DESIGN is a three-year project bringing together five design organisations: Barcelona Design Week | Barcelona Design & Creativity Foundation, What Design Can Do during Dutch Design Week, Skopje Design Week, Mikser Festival (Belgrade), and designaustria & designforum Wien. By bringing together expertise and networks, the project supports young designers and promotes sustainable design practices, professional collaboration and exchange within the design community.
A guided tour of the exhibition with the designers will take place on Friday, 25 September 2026, at 3:00 pm.
